Terms of Service
Constitutional rules, code of conduct, and digital portal terms governing all members of Command Secondary School Abakaliki Alumni Association.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account, updating your profile, remitting dues/levies, or participating in electronic voting on the official CSSA Alumni Portal, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service and the Constitution of the Command Secondary School Abakaliki Alumni Association.
2. Membership Eligibility & Verification
- Membership is open exclusively to past students who attended Command Secondary School Abakaliki (CSSA), established in October 1984, across any graduating set from the 1989 Pioneer Set (“Ancestors”) onward.
- Members must provide accurate academic and personal details, including true admission and graduation years and school house affiliation.
- The National Secretariat and Set Coordinators reserve the right to verify admission records and suspend accounts found to contain fraudulent or impersonated credentials.
3. Code of Conduct & Directory Usage
Rooted in our school motto of “Discipline & Knowledge”, all members agree to:
- Treat fellow alumni, set coordinators, National EXCO officers, and alma mater staff with respect and comradeship.
- Use contact details in the Alumni Directory strictly for legitimate alumni networking, reunion coordination, and professional fellowship—never for unsolicited spam, harassment, or unauthorized commercial scraping.
4. Dues, Levies & Financial Remittances
- Annual membership dues, development levies, and event levies are payable in Nigerian Naira (NGN) via instant Paystack checkout or direct bank transfer to the designated CSSA National Alumni Association bank accounts.
- Members who pay via manual bank transfer must submit accurate teller/NIP session details and authentic proof of payment through the Post-Payment Update Form. Submitting falsified payment receipts is a serious constitutional infraction.
- Official digital receipts are issued upon Paystack confirmation or verification by the National Financial Secretary.
5. Electronic EXCO Elections
- Each accredited member is entitled to cast one (1) electronic ballot per contested office during National EXCO elections.
- Attempting to manipulate votes, operate duplicate accounts, or interfere with the Independent Alumni Electoral Commission (IAEC) ballot portal is strictly prohibited.
6. Amendments & Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Constitution of the Command Secondary School Abakaliki Alumni Association. Updates approved by the National Executive Council may be published on this page from time to time.
