About CSSA Alumni
Over four decades of Discipline & Knowledge, comradeship, character formation, and transformative service to Command Secondary School Abakaliki.
Our Heritage & Mandate
Command Secondary School Abakaliki (CSSA) was established in October 1984 at Nkwagu Military Cantonment, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, Nigeria with our enduring motto “Discipline & Knowledge”. Our pioneer students graduated in 1989 and are fondly and respectfully referred to across the entire alumni community as the “Ancestors”.
Founded to unite all past students of Command Secondary School Abakaliki across every graduating set (from the 1989 Ancestors to the 2000s and recent sets) and diaspora chapters, CSSA Alumni serves as a lifelong bridge between old schoolmates and a catalyst for the continuous advancement of our alma mater.
Our Core Objectives
- Brotherhood & Sisterhood: Fostering lifelong professional networking, mentorship, and welfare support among alumni across all sets and school houses.
- Alma Mater Infrastructural Renewal: Mobilizing annual dues, set endowments, and development levies to modernize classrooms, laboratories, dormitories, and sporting facilities in Abakaliki.
- Discipline & Knowledge: Providing scholarships, career guidance, and prize endowments for outstanding students and teachers.
